It was in jest. Of all the E3 cockups by Sony the PS3 price of $599 was one of the worst. Giant enemy crab and flute guy were my runners up. You are now more than welcome to go back to loving a plastic box manufactured in China more than another plastic box also manufactured in China.

I kinda hope the PS5 launches at $499 so they can complete on specs with the new Xbox. I'd rather spend the money up front rather than buy an upgraded console after a few years.

I wouldn't be surprised if the new consoles launch at $399. The SSD is the most expensive new thing in them.
