Pre E3 conferences

Electronic Arts: June 8th/9th  (Not technically E3 but EA Play is roughly just EA getting out their info ahead of the rest)

Microsoft: Sun, June 9th at 1 p.m. PT / 4 p.m. ET

Bethesda: Sun, June 9th at 5:30 p.m. PT / 8:30 p.m. ET

Ubisoft: Mon, June 10 at 1 p.m. PT / 4 p.m. ET

Square Enix: Mon, June 10 at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET

Nintendo: June 11 at 9 a.m. PT / 12 p.m. ET

Sony: Taking a year off to reflect on how terrible their conference was presented last year.  Hardware will be a big deal in 2020, expect them to be back at E3.


Really interested in the rumor there will be a surprise DLC for Borderlands 2.  Also more Borderlands 3 details. Some Dying Light 2 info as they went quiet for the last year.  More Cyberpunk 2077 info and maybe a release date? Just Doom Eternal from Bethesda because they already said there would be no Starfield/Elder Scrolls at this E3.

Not really interested in any of the sports games coming to E3. Would I buy Madden 20 to play as OU? If they allow it in exhibitions.  Otherwise give me a new NCAA game. Hoping for a new Super Mega Baseball (3) but they are a small indie dev and doubt they would use E3 to reveal anything. Most baseball I have ever played on a console.  Ran two 32 NCAA team leagues.  Did the uniforms all off the top of my head and went more colorful uniforms, instead of a bunch of drab grey.

Still dreaming of a tennis game that is on par with Top Spin 4.  I played and got refunded for AO tennis and Tennis World Tour (thanks Microsoft).  Sad state of affairs when the best tennis game on the market is a $15 indie game that just came out (Super Tennis Blast).

I don't have much interest in this year's E3 without Sony, but it'll be interesting to see how much info Microsoft gives on their upcoming console(s).

I'd love to see a Super Mega Baseball 3 game. I loved the second one and just purchased the two add on stadiums a few weeks ago when they were on sale for $1.50 each. Apparently I didn't like it nearly as much as Brent, but I still played it a lot and plan on breaking it out again this summer for my baseball fix.

Early E3 leakage.  Destiny 2 will be going free to play when the new update arrives. Base game and all year one content.  Will be renamed Destiny 2: New Light. Cross saves for Xbox One and PC owners. PS4 has not been confirmed for cross saves. There will also no longer be any more PS4 exclusives. New content comes to everyone at the same time.

Might want to check out Devolver Digital too.  Their shows are usually insane parodies of the industry. Check out previous E3 shows.

To Bungies credit The Forsaken was really good. Probably the best time I have had playing it and loved the bow. The other two DLC's not so much. I just wish they would explore new areas and slap in a few new enemies that are not reskins of existing enemies.  Getting away from Activision was a good start. I am more interested in what Destiny 3 can bring.

Slept through it and the Bethesda show. Checked my e-mail after waking up and see Gearbox talking about a new free DLC for Borderlands 2. Best E3 Ever!

Yeah, it's 5GB or so, if you have BL2 or Handsome Collection. Handsome also now has a free 4K texture pack for D/L.
