I like the green tech background but it might look better as a static background that did not scroll.  The ex-webdeveloper in me pops out from time to time. 

Edit: Might look into leaving the header static (always stays at top while you scroll).  That way you have easier access to navigate the site. Seems to be the in thing these days.

It's funny you should mention the scrolling background as I was working on that exact issue last night around midnight without much luck. It's a pain in the ass editing someone else's template. I'm still tinkering with it.

I'm not a fan of the stationary headers as I find them distracting along with taking away valuable screen space from content. They certainly have their place on sites that require lots of vertical scrolling, but I don't see that being an issue with my site.
