Hitman Absolution

Anyone played this?  It dropped to $29.99 so I figured I would give it a shot.  Never played any of the Hitman series and there is a Trilogy available but the only one i would be interested in was Blood Money (the others being last gen games) and I can save a few bucks buying it On Demand if I like this one.

I haven't, mate, but I'd be interested to know what you think.  In common with almost any game that doesn't have Call, Of and Duty in its title, this was heavily discounted over Christmas and seems to have stayed there.  I'm tempted, but I'm a fan of the traditional Hitman experience, in which I have a large level, various ways to take out my mark and am left alone to work out a plan of action.  From what I've seen, this is more like the most recent Splinter Cell - was it Conviction? - than any Hitman I've ever played, and while that's not necessarily bad, I'm not sure it's quite what I want.
