I may pick up a Vita just to use remote play on my son's PS4.
I've finally convinced myself to buy the Vita. I'll probably be able to game more with a portable system anyway. I'm hoping to pick it up on sale this upcoming week.

Not only did I buy a Vita today, but I bought it at one of the stores I hate the most...Best Buy. They actually had the best deal on it at $169 while everyone else was $179.

LOL. Loving the remote play feature but the Wipeout 2048 demo has been keeping me busy...I had forgotten how much I love the Wipeout series. I debating whether to just download the full game or order the physical game from Amazon.
Just picked up the full game of Wipeout 2048 and The Show 13. I'll probably download all the Wipeout DLC tonight too.

Just downloaded the HP and HD Fury combo pack for Wipeout. That should keep me busy for a while.
Is The Show as full on the vita as on the console?
I'm pretty sure it is...I haven't even played it yet though. Here's a video comparison of the PS3 versions and Vita version side-by-side:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4jEZNZL6gX8 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4jEZNZL6gX8)
It also got a good review from Operation Sports: MLB 13 Vita Review (http://www.operationsports.com/reviews/701/mlb-13-the-show-/)
Continuing with my obsession of all things Wipeout, I purchased the PSP version (Wipeout Pure) and think it might be my favorite version so far. The graphics almost match the native Vita versions and the gameplay is much more similar to the PS1 versions that I loved. Best of all, you can customize your races and disable weapons. Next up is the original PS1 version of Wipeout that's available for only $5.99. I just wished they had Wipeout XL...that one has always been my favorite in the series.
I still have Wipeout HD from the giveaway Sony did a few years back. Still looks and plays great.
I just added Hot Shots Golf and Need for Speed: Most Wanted to my catalog. These cheap prices are too tempting...HSG was only $13.99 and NFS was $19.99.
PS+ subs $30 all day online. Caveat: PSN down/wonky worldwide attm.
As expected, the PS Vita has quickly become my main gaming machine. I purchased Madden 13 while away in Florida and have been playing a bunch of The Show 13. I'm still amazed at being able to play current-gen (XB360 and PS3) quality games on a hand-held and I love the sub $20 prices. I really hope more companies start making games for the Vita because it's really an amazing little system.

I am assuming this is the Vita version? HSG World Invitational? I have it on the the PS3 and it is a terrific game.
Yes, the Vita versions. I haven't played HSG World Invitational too much because I'm hooked on The Show right now, but I enjoyed it and can see myself playing it quite a bit.
I downloaded the Dead or Alive 5 demo and will probably make this my next purchase.

I wasn't aware of that feature...but apparently you were ;)

I think they call that deflecting the truth. There is nothing wrong with touching a virtual woman on a screen in first person mode.

I can't post links just FYI.
What happens when you try to post a link? You're part of the SGN Members group and should be able to do it.

Nevermind...I found it. The minimum number of posts to be able to post external links was set to 20. I lowered it to 10. You should be fine now.
Oh, and I ordered DoA today. It was $10 cheaper at Amazon and I wanted the catridge instead of using up 3.5 GB to save the game to my memory card.

Just remember to hide it from the wife.
I was looking for a third-person shooter for the Vita and came across Unit 13 and was surprised to see there was a demo for it. Apparently I'm not the only person to find this game by accident and come away very impressed with it. It's made by the guys who made SOCOM (Zipper) and is really good. The demo gives you a good amount to play, but I'll probably add the full game to my collection...especially since it's only $20.
I originally purchased the Vita for remote play with the PS4, but I've been spending all of my time playing Vita games.
My copy of Virtua Tennis 4 for the Vita should arrive tomorrow. Looking forward to that one.
VT4 on the Vita is incredible. The graphics and gameplay are better than Virtua Tennis 2009 on the Xbox 360.
I purchased my second downloadable PSP game for the Vita...Socom: Fire Team Bravo 3. Decent graphics, works nicely with only one analog stick and a lot of fun. I should have moved to a handheld system long ago.
Just ordered Killzone: Mercenary for the Vita on sale at Amazon. Yes, I know it's a FPS, bit I'm going to give it try...I'm hoping the smaller screen doesn't give me a headache with the motion.
I'm not a big fan of third-party peripherals, but I've heard good things about this and ordered it:
(https://www.digitalgamingarena.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.digitalgamingnation.com%2Fdgaorum%2Fgallery%2F1_03_01_14_11_35_14.jpeg&hash=2f3e6dc0215cc72e6cb43501a91a2dfc8ba09513)
Out of control.
You don't know the half of it. I also ordered Sonic All-Stars Racing and I'm absolutely hooked on it. I'll probably order Mortal Kombat for the Vista too since it's only $15.99.
I returned the Vita grip I had ordered and replaced it with this one:
(https://www.digitalgamingarena.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.digitalgamingnation.com%2Fdgaorum%2Fgallery%2F1_22_01_14_1_36_37.jpeg&hash=bf038fdbba56226dd49930a8401087f640aad04a)
I didn't like how the trigger buttons worked on the other one. This grip lets you use the standard Vita trigger buttons which I don't mind.
I've also been playing a lot of Killzone on the Vita. I'm about halfway through the campaign and really like it. The best part is that I'm not getting headaches or dizziness from the game. I'm not sure if it's because of the smaller screen or slower movement. Either way, I'm happy.
I bought an Xbox One a few weeks ago. Still plan on getting a PS4 down the road but I just love the Xbox Controller more and plan on using the PS4 for exclusives.
Was the controller the only reason you went with the Xbox One first? Have you tried out the DS4 yet? It's much better than the DS3.
I tried both on the demos before purchasing. The PS4 controller is improved but the Xbox controller still feels uncomfortable for me due to the analog layouts Also the Xbox One had more exclusives I wanted right off the bat. Dead Rising 3, Peggle 2 and Powerstar Golf. Also looking forward to the following exclusives; Sunset Overdirve, Quantum Break and Project Spark. Ironically, the biggest exclusive, "Titanfall" is not something I care for (Mechs and online only are two things that make me pass).
PS4 will get me to jump in when Naughty Dog brings Uncharted 4. The only upcoming PS4 exclusives I am interested in are The Show (Fortunately RBI 14 will tide me over) and The Order:1886. Infamous Second Son is a biggie and looks amazing but I could never get into the first two on the PS3 (not really into the whole superhero schtick, and firing bolts of lightning but some of the gameplay aspects like the free running were enjoyable).
Still have yet to turn on the Kinect after setting it up. I wish they offered one without it but there might one day come a golf/tennis game that plays well with it and I will jump in.
I'm somewhat interested in Titanfall and very interested in Forza, but I'm sticking with the PS4 for this generation.
I wouldn't get your hopes up with RBI 14, I have a feeling a lot of people are going to be VERY disappointed.
RBI available for tablet is very interesting to me.
Just completed Killzone on the Vita...awesome game. A true console experience on a hand-held. I guess it's a good thing I'm adjusting to FPS games now that Microsoft purchased the rights to Gears of War.

I have to tell you that I almost purchased this domain for April Fools Day and was going to redirect the forum to that address for the day. I would have paid to see the expression on Brent's face when saw that.
It still would not be worse than the snowflakes. :P
If only you could make it rain little Vita's. ;D

Being able to swap for the Show makes it pretty sweet.
That's pretty tempting...
If I hadn't jumped when I did, I'd be all over that.
